Hello, I am Apostle Candy, the pastor of Caring Hearts Restoration Ministry. Thank you for taking the time to learn about the ministry and the vision God has given me to assist others in overcoming life trials using the biblical principles to recover from their traumatic experiences without the use of alcohol, drugs, and any other addictive behaviors.
Dr. Candy’s hometown is Newark, New Jersey, born and raised. She completed her high school education at Malcolm X Shabazz, Associate of Science degree at Essex County college in Accounting both located in Newark. Apostle Candy received her Bachelor of Science degree from Jersey City State College in Health Science located in Jersey City, New Jersey. She completed her Master of Arts degree in Agency Counseling from North Carolina Central University located in Durham, North Carolina. Apostle Candy received her Doctorate degree in Religious Studies from Trinity College of the Bible and Trinity Theological Seminary, and she received her PhD-ABD from Capella University in Addiction Psychology. Dr. Candy is a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist who is the owner of Caring Hearts Counseling Services, LLC, and Turning Point Recovery Coaching.
Apostle Candy is an ordained ministry called by God to work with the broken which includes the mental health and addiction communities. Apostle Candy’s model is to put God first in their healing. Apostle Candy says.” Pain is Real but Recovery is Possible”.

Caring Hearts Restoration Ministry is the home of The Overcomers, a group within Caring Hearts who are dedicated to empowering individuals who have faced life's challenges and emerged victorious through faith in Christ. This compassionate group comprises individuals who have experienced brokenness but have found healing and triumph in their relationship with Christ. They now live lives filled with peace, joy, and purpose, serving as a testament to the transformative power of faith.
The Overcomers focuses on providing support, encouragement, and practical resources to those in need. The Overcomers believe in the strength of community and the importance of sharing our journeys to inspire and uplift others. By fostering a supportive and faith-based environment, we aim to help individuals overcome their struggles and live victoriously in God’s grace.
We offer a range of services and programs designed to address various aspects of personal and spiritual growth, including:
